Jim Friedman was a Boston photographer, then studying with Minor White, whom I met in 1973. We went on to exchange photographs and correspondence when I returned to my then-life in Arizona and Los Angeles. These photos are all from 1973 during a week-long visit and workshop with Ansel Adams.
