Jim F. in 1973

Came across this old image of my friend, a Boston photographer whom I met in Yosemite in 1973.  For a few years, we exchanged photographs then we seem to have lost track of each other.

The Chair

Probably shouldn’t even post this as I don’t know the identity of the artist whose installation I photographed last Friday night at Art Escape Studios, a nice little neighborhood gallery I was delighted to encounter.  This piece was  quite striking, but my interpretation, perhaps David Lynch-inspired, is quite different than the real life viewing.  (I will try to track down the artist involved and update this post.)

Art Escape on First Friday Art Tour

The only photography I found at this gallery was that of Tara Graves (I documented some work in other media by other artists at WhileBusy: rDay1290).

Running Banker Redux

You may recall my “Running Banker” from a previous post, documenting an individual who stepped out of a bank at around 5pm and started running, briefcase in tow.  I have spotted him again, about two months later, this time running for about four blocks until he reached a parking lot.   Possibly this is part of his exercise regimen — if I ever catch him stopped at a crosswalk, I’ll ask.
