Art Escape on First Friday Art Tour

The only photography I found at this gallery was that of Tara Graves (I documented some work in other media by other artists at WhileBusy: rDay1290).

Running Banker Redux

You may recall my “Running Banker” from a previous post, documenting an individual who stepped out of a bank at around 5pm and started running, briefcase in tow.  I have spotted him again, about two months later, this time running for about four blocks until he reached a parking lot.   Possibly this is part of his exercise regimen — if I ever catch him stopped at a crosswalk, I’ll ask.

The Bat Signal

This photo-illustration is based on images captured last night, a starry night, during the local celebration of the birthday of native son, Adam West, who portrayed Batman/Bruce Wayne in the 1960s comic-adventure TV series.  The building upon which the “Bat Signal” is projected is more or less across the street from my third-floor workspace, affording me a prime view.

Jerry L. in 1969

My friends and I talk and read and entertain ourselves in my Hollywood apartment. The year is 1969 and I photograph my old friend in the mirror in this long-lost image.
