San Francisco, Early 70s

Given a currently-defunct camera, I return to exploration of old negatives. Here I find some trashed color negatives, but see if they can be resurrected by conversion to monochrome. (I note that VW bugs, ubiquitous in that era, appear in the background of at least two images. And I have been doing windshield photography for a long time.)

VietNam, 1967

One of my projects upon moving to a new state and a new workplace has been, as a part of the process of unearthing long-forgotten photographs, to locate my images from my 1967-1968 time in VietNam during that war.  Here are a handful that are starting to come to light.  These were taken in the street in Saigon and from a window where I worked on the sixth, perhaps, floor of a Saigon building.
