Another resurrection from the archives …

This one was originally a color snapshot made with a borrowed, cheap, entry-level Polaroid camera.  Then it was scanned some years ago.  When I recently rediscovered it, the thing was a 600px wide image that I am now bumping up to 2000px or thereabouts using a new copy of OnOne Software’s Perfect Resize 7 (formerly Genuine Fractals), as a test.   Click the image to see what happened.  I will probably further test this by trying to make some largish prints.

Vivian Maier Update

The Vivian Maier website also is now showing quite a number of images, including one of my favorites, a self-portrait made in New York City in 1953, as shown here.
