A Day at the Races (1972)

The other day I unexpectedly came upon a few rolls of film worth of slides from an 1972 assignment to photograph a team of drag racers at Irwindale Raceway. Totally forgotten.  Can’t remember where my partner published some of this stuff.  Here a few of the images, mostly discolored and damaged from nearly 50 years of neglect:
